Welcome to Episode 09 of Peachy Gems - a city girl’s guide to hidden gems and Peachy Favourites. In this episode, we headed to Hackney to check out La Camionera, London's new lesbian bar with a Spanish twist.
The name literally means female truck driver, a cheeky nod to Spanish slang for butch lesbians.
Ella wears The Kylie Vest Top, Graphite

Founders Alex and Clara first launched it as a tiny one-night pop-up in a basement on Broadway Market, meant for forty people… but hundreds showed up. After going viral online, the community rallied behind them, helping raise a hundred grand in just weeks to open a permanent home in Homerton.
Clara wears The Kylie Asymmetric Top, Sea Salt and Lennox Straight Leg Trousers. Alex wears The Kylie Top and Skort, Graphite.

Designed as more than just a bar, La Camionera is a space for connection, where good conversations matter more than cocktails.
Jess and Ella wear The Goldie Jeans, Indigo Rinse (coming soon).

By day, it’s bright and easygoing. Think coffee mornings, laptops, parents and kids.
By night, it transforms into a warm, candle-lit hub with life drawing, singles nights, and parties.

A love letter to queer community and Spanish café culture, La Camionera is proof that when the city needs a space like this, people show up.
Find La Camionera at 243 Well Street, London E9 6RG.
