The elastane or spandex in our cotton or blended items is added for extra comfort when worn, however, it is sensitive to hot temperatures during washing. We recommend a cool or cold machine wash to avoid any damage or shrinkage due to the elastane.

Cupro is a naturally breathable fabric so doesn’t need to be washed often. We recommend to air it out between wears, keeping the garment fresh whilst reducing the amount of times it needs washing. If the garment does need to be washed, we recommend using a green dry cleaners or cold hand wash, reshaping the garment whilst damp. Do not wring, and dry flat.

We recommend washing recycled nylon on a gentle 30 degree cycle with similar colours and cool iron if needed. Do not dry clean or use harsh chemicals. A guppy bag or similar type of laundry bag will protect the metal toggles and drawcords. With every wash and wear, the fabric will soften.

When you do need to give your knitwear a refresh, its always better to wash by hand or soak. We try to provide our customers with easy care knitwear (as we know it can be frustrating to dry clean and hand wash), but be sure to wash on a cold gentle cycle if you do opt for machine washing as over spinning and heat will cause shrinkage. If you have the patience for a hand wash your knitwear will thank you, particularly if you add a bit of hair conditioner to bring up that softness.

Denim does not need to be washed after every wear, leaving your denim longer between washes preserves the fabric’s colour, shape and quality. You can hang your denim out to air to freshen it up between wears. When you do wash your denim we recommend a cold machine wash using a delicate detergent and washing with similar colour garments. You should turn denim inside out when washing, especially if it is dark denim. If there is extra detailing on your denim garment use a guppy bag or similar laundry bag.

Air out garment as much as possible rather than machine washing. Spot clean stains or marks with a sponge. Do not wring, and dry flat.

Always rinse in water after pool or sea dips. Rinsing in water pre-dip can help protect the fabric as it will saturate with fresh water rather than chlorine or seawater. We recommend hand washing inside out with a delicate detergent. If using a machine, use a guppy bag or similar type of laundry bag to help protect the delicate fabric. Air dry with the garment laid flat.

We recommend airing out your Peachy products rather than washing after every wear. This helps preserve the quality, colour and shape as well as being better for the environment. 

If you have a small mark or stain on your garment we suggest spot cleaning with a sponge. 

When washing is required, always wash on a cool 30 degree wash, or as the care label recommends.

We recommend using a guppy bag or similar laundry bag as it helps protect your garment and keep microplastics out of our oceans.

Hand wash in cold water rather than washing a small load. We recommend using a delicate detergent like Soak Laundry Soap. 

Different styles fabrics require different care. We recommend always checking if there are specific instructions for storage.

We recommend folding knitwear rather than hanging as it prevents misshaping.

If dry cleaning is required we recommend looking into green dry cleaners like dhobees.

We do not recommend drying in tumble dryers. All our products should dry on the line outside, hang dry inside or dry flat.
