Welcome to Episode 08 of Peachy Gems - a city girl’s guide to hidden gems and peachy favorites. In this episode, we’re showcasing Darling's Eatery, a charming little spot in Hackney Wick that opened its doors in March. Known for its delicious seasonal pasta dishes and curated wine list, this female owned restaurant is our new date night favourite.
Egle wears The Elsa Set in Beetle.
Estonian-born owner Egle fell in love with the art of pasta making and its philosophy: turning something humble like flour and water into abundance. Inspired by this ideology, she created a space that oozes warmth and hospitality.
True to its name, Darling’s Eatery is cozy and welcoming. Guests can sit alongside each other and enjoy their meal at the two large wooden sharing tables.
The restaurant name is a nod to the Cockney term "darling," which Egle found heartwarming when she moved from her Nordic homeland and heard this term of endearment used by Londoners.
